5 )...' SERVANT ' Recently, a woman approached me and asked if I felt that the Lord had called her as a 'Forerunner' to a particular region of the country. (She had been sitting under a teaching that she felt she was to take back to her home town and begin to teach.) She repeated and stressed,... 'Forerunner'. I said, "I don't know. Lets ask God." I looked away from her and immediatly the Lord spoke,... "You are a SERVANT, call it what you will." I smiled, and turning back to her I repeated the words I just heard. Her head dropped and tears began to fall. She looked back up at me and said with a smile on her tear stained face,... "He isn't concerned with titles, is He?"... I replied, "No dear, He isn't." As the revelation sank deeper into her heart and soul over the next few seconds, she began to laugh and cry with a freedom she had not previously known. ( I laughed and cried with her. It was a precious moment in His 'Revelation Presence'.) By God's grace, she had just escaped one of the most oppressive traps of the enemy within all Christendom..... The desire for 'recognition' and 'prominence' is inherently human.... 'Humility' is ESSENTIAL... 'Death to self '... IS,... the 'Mind of Christ'. ( Phil 2:5-8) ********** "Your name O man, means nothing,... save that it is written in the 'Lamb's Book of Life'. Your titles and positions are as nothing in My presence. Who do you think you are O man, who parade around in your titles and eminence? The dawn of My coming will find you wanting and you will see what your 'Title' will afford you. My reward will be with Me! Those who wear their titles like flowing gowns will see the dirt they have gathered. The spoil runs red like blood. I will avenge," says the Lord! "There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!" ************************************************************
6 )...' LAST CALL ' In reference to Matt.10:41, I asked the Lord many years ago what a 'prophets reward' was, and immediatly these three words rang out inside me;... "Knowledge, Wisdom and Suffering." Hebrews 5:8 says that Jesus 'learned obedience' through the things that He 'suffered'. Suffering, to one degree or another, is part of discipleship. There is no getting around it for those that are truly called. Afflictions, persecutions and hardships are often the tools used to humble us and bring us to greater degrees of obedience. The 'bread of adversity' and the 'water of affliction' can grieve a man to the depths of his soul. The 'Chastening of the Lord' can grieve a man nearly unto death, yes,..... but then,... THAT,... is exactly the point..... ********** For says the Lord;... "Those who have obediently eaten of My 'bread of adversity' and drank of My 'water of affliction' shall dine with Me at My table for eternity in My kingdom. Those who have not run from My chastening, and have endured My scourgings are sons indeed, and I will abide with them forever! Blessed are they that wait on Me! Blessed are they who endure and do not cast away their confidence," says the Lord. "I will repay!" "There shall be great joy in Zion, not only because I am there, but also because of the witness of the brethren assembled. There shall not be a perversion or a coward among them. The 'elect of the Lord', humble and true, will be each ones neighbor! Those whom I have picked and proven will worship in My streets and upon My hills. Those who have given their life for Me and have come through the fire will be with Me and see Me as when a child wakes to the arms and kisses of his mother. Yes, I will rule the nations with a rod of iron, but My beloved I will dandle on My knee!" "What would a man give for his soul? What in this life of yours O man, is so important and precious that you would sell your soul and deny Me? If My love could be weighed, the world would be as a feather in comparison. My 'LOVE' has come forth and has always been with you. Also My 'JUSTICE'. The Blood of My holiness and righteousness is the SACRIFICE that demands an answer! It is the Covenant that cannot be broken;... 'My Life, for Yours'. I have given Mine. What will you do with yours? I have given ALL... I can give no more." "The last call has gone out. My mighty ones are gathered at the corners of the earth. On the wind they ride with death and destruction! What will you give for your soul O man? The end is near! Look up. Turn your ear to My spirit. For in the day that you deny Me, lay on your back and spit straight way into the air. So shall your shame cover you!" "I am the Lord your God. 7 )...' DISBELIEF ' "Yes, I will speak to your concern, that you do not believe that I have said,... 'I am not in your revivals'. I will speak to your concern and disbelief at My words," says the Lord. "I have told you that it is not I in your revivals, but rather, 'emotion' and 'deceiving spirits' at work. And now you seek a sign to know if indeed I have said these things or not. And though I have also told you that it is an evil and adulterous generation that seeks after a sign,... never-the-less, I will give you one." "I will unveil the truth of your revivals. I will uncover the enemy at work. You will see the rotting fruit of those who say, 'We are in REVIVAL!'. You will see their folly and the error of their ways. And I say, 'Where are the Nathanaels? Where are My children in whom there is no guile'? " "You will see what I have said and you will know that it is I, the LORD your GOD, who speaks to you. The children of guile will be uncovered. Those who have asked for ears to hear and eyes to see will know My heart and My holiness," says the Lord. "I will speak to your concern, for I am the LORD your GOD who answers those who cry out to Me in earnest. I will not withold from any who truly desires to know Me, and who will not run from My wisdom." "Yes, I will speak to your concern!"
